A good App - but their is missing German as a Language since 1 year.

Makes game setup a little easier, and having the conditions on one side keeps it simple. The voice overs add to the theme. Wish it had integration with the custom deck builder, and a searchable set of rules/faq. The app shows "development version" on the bottom.

Loved the app when we first got it. Just played a game tonight and it was SO glitchy. I have a 6Splus and its gully updated. The options gear didnt work and neither did the "play" button for any of the voice readings. Also, some cards skipped right past the main text w/ options and just auto-chose one. Not good. We went back to the cards. Hopefully there will be an update soon.

The Apps is ok but it need to be perfected. They need to add the voice acting and some sound effect .

I love the game but the Crossroads Card deck is too big to easily shuffle without bending cards. So this idea is great, an app that contains all the cards from the crossroads deck so as to avoid having to deal with shuffling the deck. However including the expansion, Dead of Winter: The Long Night, is a must for this to be effective as people who own the expansion simply cannot use this app. Another addition is the ability to remove promo cards from the deck as some people, such as myself, do not have all the promo cards. Otherwise I think the concept of this app is very smart and well worth it for anyone who plays this game frequently. Just a simple update with those features would satisfy me and my purchase.

Works great iPhone 6+. Great narration. Same cards kept coming up but found shuffle in settings menu. Would be nice to de/select certain cards. Ambient snow sound good is nice touch.

I have an iPhone 4 and thought it came with audio but I doesnt seem to work if there is. Works great with the game and I love that the results of your choices isnt revealed until after you have decided on your choice. I recommend it and would be a 4, maybe even 5 star if there were audio.

The long awaited Crossroads app for Dead of Winter is here! This app simulates the crossroads deck, and improves the theme of the game. The app provides the experience of only providing the options of the crossroads card, instead of showing the outcomes. The audio is greatly improved with the narration by Eric Summerer. Passing the device may or may not work for some groups. Also, the app could use the option to include promos as appropriate - hopefully this is coming soon.

Everytime I choose "settings" or "play" button, the app keeps cancelling my choice.

I was excited to see this release as it simplifies game set up and adds a new element of drama. Unfortunately it doesnt work on an iPhone 6 Plus, it will not allow me to select settings or click play on the audio.

Normally I wouldnt pay for a companion app for a game I didnt own, (though I definitely would get this if I owned DoW) but Ive met Emerson and hes a great guy who Im happy to boost anytime I can.

The voiceover function doesnt work as of the writing of this review. Im using an iPhone 5c. Once they correct this issue I will gladly revise my review. I was very excited for this app when I first heard of it and I think it has a lot of potential.

I cant help but notice that the voiceover doesnt cover the consequences of the choices, for whatever reason. Aside from the fact that the text retains the typos from the original print, everything else about this app is pretty phenomenal. I loved playing with it with my family last night. Well worth the .99

Audio narration and sound effects not working on iPhone 5s. Disappointed.

6s plus. Have to tap settings button lots of times to get it to register. Play button same thing - no sound or voiceover. When you do finally get into settings you cant change any of them! Ive basically just paid 99c for a deck of cards I already own! App is currently Useless.

My group and I played the game using the app and we kept getting the same cards coming up. We were using the back button instead of the discard button but it really wasnt obvious. Also something that bothers me about the game is that the exposure die seems to be weighted to the tooth side. Ive seen it rolled 4 times in a row in a game, twice! I would like to see the exposure die added to the app as well.
